The Point is UBC REC’s online magazine. Providing enhanced content and media, The Point will feature UBC REC activities, health and lifestyle news and other general interest pieces. We are always in search of contributors. Point Staff:

Jill Slattery (Director)

Jill is a 4th year English major and is currently in her 2nd year in the REC program. She is working towards a career in the creative arenas of online journalism, social media, and marketing.

Beth Trelease (Health Promotions Editor)

Beth is a 3rd year History and English Language major and this is her 1st year in the REC program. She loves all things Nike, and would love to work permanently for the company one day. She is off to Edinburgh in September for a semester abroad.

Curtis LeBlanc (Leagues Editor)

Curtis is a 4th year Creative Writing major and this is his 1st year in REC. He hails from chilly Alberta and is an unashamed Edmonton Oilers fan. He will be graduating in April to begin his career as a writer and hopes to attend Grad school in September.

Danna Batara (RECulture Editor)

Danna is a 4th year Psychology major and this is her 2nd year in REC. Danna loves Ultimate, swimming, playing the ukulele, and One Direction.

Campbell Drohan (Social Media)

Campbell is a 2nd year Science student and joined REC and The Point in January 2013. Besides being the whitest rapper on campus, Cam is also a Residence Adviser at Totem. She is the voice behind UBC REC Facebook and Twitter pages.
