This week, Nitobe is recognizing Emma as our “Ref of the Week”. This is Emma’s first year reffing for Nitobe. She is incredibly athletic, having played basketball for 10 years, along with participating in ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, soccer, and snowboarding. Her favorite NBA player is Jason Kapono because he is the “hottest shooter the Raptors ever had.” Her advice for participants is to not yell at your refs.
Emma is very dedicated to reffing with Nitobe. The participants appreciate Emma because she is fair, consistent and approachable. She always shows up early to her shifts and is willing to go above and beyond to provide the best experience for the players. Thank you, Emma, for all of your hard work!
